Found a fault, there's no clearance for the oil dipstick tube with the 45s in the way, with the dipdtick fitted carbs won't even go on the head.
What's the solution lol

The tube that the dipstick sits in is only a press fit into the cylinder block. Using some grips at the bottom of the tube you should be able to twist it until it is out of the way.

Lol I was stumped for a user mname so used the cats. But yes he fits the profile you describe

Just as Paul has said just twist and 'adapt' the dipstick tube so it's just out of the way. When Tickover fitted my 45s Gus just had to adapt mine slightly so it just sits down by the side of the carbs. It's a tad fiddly to get to but you can.. Pulls out easy enough to check the oil. You might just be able to make out the dipstick where I've circled.
