Good one Andy, used to watch it too. I think that show has already been mentioned on here, but definitely worthy of a repeat showing!

Oh my god don't let the PC brigade and the snowflakes catch sight of these classics. They'll be laying down in a dark room!

Re: Who Remembers?
If you read the comments on these videos, a large amount are positive and hate the now PC Brigade.
Makes you wonder how many are actually offended I think it's a small amount, unfortunatly they are given the benefit of doubt and we all suffer change
Comedy has changed so much, I really miss the old stuff (and music) good job it's still on YouTube

Don't think we've mentioned Dick Emery, what a character he was, saw a documantary on him a few weeks ago which was on TV. These comedy stars were so good that close to 20 million people were watching them. You could argue that we only had 3 (and then 4) channels, but even so, the ability to turn the TV off was still there, we didn't have to watch it! Proper TV.
And he loved his Lotus Elan.

The Generation Game was always popular too, and as a contestant just a laugh at yourself really. Now we have Pants and Dick Would rather glue my bits to the sideboard (There's another 70s word)

Re: Who Remembers?
These two guys would have to rate at the top end of a list of worlds best comedians .
I would have loved to meet Benny Hill.

Re: Who Remembers?
Anything with Ronnie Barker was worth watching and David Jason is another that I can watch many of his programmes.
Dad would laugh at Tommy Cooper before he appeared on the screen, needless to say we saw his death as it happened as did many others
Benny Hill, Les Dawson harmless silly fun that is missing today, but if anyone tried to copy them now it wouldn't be the same second time around.
