Thanks so much Wayne.
You're so welcome Nick,
I know exactly how your feeling, it's been 8 years since I lost my mum, I was utterly destroyed at the time, In a way I guess I still am, I don't believe you get over it - but life goes on and you do learn to live with it.
My advice: remember the good times, talk about her, quote stuff she used to say and remember that no matter what no one, not even the powers up above can take away your memories and the fact that she's your mum - especially today.

You'll never lose your memories, and I try and look forward all the time but sometimes things takes you back which is still a good thing!

You’re both right. It’s 3 years since I lost my dad and we regularly talk about him and have a laugh about things he said and did. It keeps them alive in a strange kind of way (it sounds like you know what I mean!).
My thoughts are with you today Nick incidentally.

I am sorry to hear of your loss Nick.
Its a few years since i lost my mum, as others have said you never stop missing her but you will get used to coping as time goes on.
