Over the weekend my dear sister mailed me an old photo that she had found. It is a very precious picture of me as a 17 year old with my MK2 2.0S that was only about 3 years old at the time of the photo. I loved that car and would buy it back even if it had been sat in a hedge for 20 years. Unfortunately it was last taxed in 1987 so it must of befallen a horrible end then.

Re: The one that started it all
Nice one Paul!
Good to look back at proper photos
Got some taken in mid 80's with the Marina and Mk3 Escort, will have to find them out one day.

Great picture Paul, it’s brilliant seeing things like this, vinyl roof looks great against the white too. Any more first Capri pictures out there? This could be the start of a big thread ..

Do you know what the registration of your car was? Sometimes people have posted on forums and facebook and have managed to find their cars still going.

OFB 844R. Last taxed 1987. I sold it to an RAF officer who lived in West Oxfordshire. Car originally supplied by Bryan Brothers, Bristol.
