Paint codes

Hi there .
I have a 2.8i 1981 in two tone green ill try posy a picture , I was wondering if anyone has the names and possibly the codes for the two types of green so I can get some made up ?
I'm near a paint store today.

Forest Green over Crystal Green.

You should have a sticker(s) on the boot floor to the left of spare wheel with the paint codes XSC----

Just for reference capris made in 1986 don’t have the paint code sticker in the boot it’s a square label that makes no sense .

Agreed my 1986 plate reads Canton blue which doesn’t exist.
1987 2.8 Turbo technics. :drive:

Ditto 1984, mine says XSC1056 - which is Strato Silver. (The car is, and always has been, Mineral Blue) Weird!

I must be lucky mine is pretty much bang on :lol:

1932 is the code for Ford Lacquer Red and I think the A on the end of mine might denote a different shade of the colour as I think I seen 1932B code too which is Lacquer Red as well. Someone might know more of the significance of the letter A but as said 1932 is deffo Lacquer Red.

I think A means don’t get wet or let kids with sticky fingers touch your car :lol:

And having seen how different shades of Lacquer Red can look in differing light I'd suggest B for Brown. ;)
