Rev Counter Repair

Post by D366Y »

Hi all,

I finally have a working rev counter again! Only took me 3 or 4 years....

I had to change the original one for a replacement from Martin (thanks), and changed it over which worked, but in the interest of trying to repair the rev counter rather than chucking it as eventually there will be none left - does anyone have any idea where to start?

Cheers!
Danny

Right, prepare for a stoopid answer.................

I once had a rev counter that failed. It turned out to be nothing more than the needle being loose on the spindle and not moving.
See I said it was stoopid..................but worth a check.
