New Shed & Buried

Post by pbar »

Not sure if this has been mentioned, but a new series starts on Quest on Tuesday. Think the first episode is all about cars.

One of my favourites amongst the mass of car related shows this one is.

I saw this was coming on again Paul, I thought they had done 3 series already, must just be the 2 :?

Shame it's at 9pm, could easily put it on an hour earlier as nothing special just usual repeats. Anyway will be a change from the usual selection of crap on the screen now.

Mc Tool, I've been watching Flipping Bangers again. That Alfa they scrapped still annoys me as plenty of useable parts inc newly refurbed wheels. I would have sold it on and let the new buyer decide what was the best option for it!

As mentioned in the latest magazine, one of the episodes was partially shot at the Capri Club. Should be interesting.

Thanks for the heads up.
I remember JH mentioning this in the club magazine, that will definitely be an episode worth watching.

Andrew.

No Mc, that's from an older series.

I will watch the latest episodes on repeat Saturday or Sunday evening!

As Andy rightly says, that was a previous Capri episode. You can tell which are new ones, they are socially distancing from most people, no handshakes, etc.

Thanks Andy . They are a hard case couple, go into a shed looking at a capri , a laverda ,a sunbeam , discussing how many thousands of £ they would spend .....and then leave with ½ a penny farthing bike 😁

I know what you mean Andy, it is difficult to decide sometimes if the sellers have a business or just enthusiasts who happen to have a lot of space.

I watched last night and there were 2 Capris featured in the penultimate episode. One looked like a Mk1 facelift and the other might have been a 280.

The guy sold alot of Mk1 and Mk2 Escort imports plus a few other classics in Worcester, so must have been John Hills son.

I saw that too Andy, there were a lot of Capri's scattered around actually, you could spot a few here and there in the distance.
