Getting back into Capri after a long hiatus

Hi,
Just thought I'd introduce myself, have recently bought my umpteenth Capri after a long break I fondly remember buying my 1st a mk2 1.6l in bronze with a sumptuous brown vinyl roof for £80, all I can say is, cor blimey haven't they gone up in price!!! :)
Anyway, hi to all and who's taking theirs out this Sunday?

It might get a run to buy a newspaper but that will be about it but it was used for work a couple of times in the week.

the 2.8 needs a bit of work, so I'm going to try and keep that on the road whilst it's being slowly improved. I've already fallen into the trap of a full rebuild resto - the result is still sat in the drive after 20yrs waiting for me to build a suitable garage, good news is, the finance committee has approved funds for the garage so hopefully restoring that will be on the horizon
But 1st things 1st going to start on the brakes this weekend work from the back, it's always easier :lol:

Might even have a go at a few pics!!
