WD-40

Post by pbar »

I usually get the WD-40 5L tubs and have just ordered from here, where it is only £21.99 (much cheaper than Screwfix) with free next day delivery.

Maybe I'm a bit heavy-handed with them but I used to find that the tub of WD40 used to last a lot longer than the applicator trigger pot.

I e-mailed WD-40 once Paul and just asked for another applicator (as I wanted more than one), and they just sent it to me for free. But you can of course just use any trigger spray, about 80p in the pound shops I think. I tend to recycle those form the kitchen.

Isn`t that a bit of an oxymoron? :xd:
Anyway, Paul, I can now buy some with the money I saved by switching to Avast ;) (which went surprisingly well)

Don`t know, I only know it as a pirate expression: "Avast me hearties!" and the free anti-virus software.

At Screwfix a standard 600ml can costs £5.99, so £21.99 for 5L is a massive saving actually, surprisingly so.

Hi Steve, no it just struck me to work out what the cost comparisons were, that's all. I think a 5L tub is equivalent to around 8 normal cans, which would normally cost a whopping £48!

I had to google that Hamish as it's not a product I'm familiar with. WD-40 is by far the most popular/common brand for lubricant, etc. over here, nothing else even comes close really.
