Re: New member

Our air gun laws dont have any limit on power , only that pcp air guns are to be treated as a normal fire arm in that you must have a firearm license , or be in the immediate company of a license holder when using or transporting pcp air guns and must be stored as per firearms . Any one over 18 may ...

Re: Rear wheel arch rust

Plus one for pouring something rust proofy over the inner wheel arch . I use fish oil and it goes all thru the sills , pillars and chasis. I use a garden mister nozzle on a piece of stiff alkathene ¼" tube, I thread tube thru where you want it to go , fit the nozzle ,turn on pump ( commersial dishwa...

Re: One for Peter

I think Spitfires would have to be the coolest things on the planet .....but in all fairness Im starting to think they might not quite deserve that accolade .....Hurricane ......say more? , And I watched a doco on the Corsair ...

Re: SS Exhaust manifold for 2.8i

A full stainless exhaust has a different resonance to mild steel and they can still sound the business when quietened down to a nice level . I followed a car load of young ins in a mitsi with a big drain pipe and I could hear it droning away from our car ......couldnt hear the doof doof over it 😆

I want to say I have a box with a couple of spares in should anyone need any (don't hold me to it) but if it's of interest let me know and they're yours for the cost of postage provided I can find them! :)
😆 Oh , so like a government promise then ? 😁

Re: Tyrrell's Classic Workshop - Capri Mk I 3000 GT XLR

Just had another thought ......I dont let Di fuel my car coz the tight bitch always puts budget petrol in ....not the 96 it needs, so maybe your Mrs aint as dumb as you think. Women have (so do teens) petrol esp , see Di's car is the 4wd so I take that fishing but even when I spring it on her the ca...

Re: Tyrrell's Classic Workshop - Capri Mk I 3000 GT XLR

As regards the program, I do believe that the presenter thought himself to be above a common old Capri and that it was just taking up space in his showroom. Yup. I get shitted off with knobs explaining something technical ,like this muppet with the distributor , describing how it works ,sorta . One...

Re: Bumper Bolts

If your going to paint them why not just "reshape" the heads. Yes I was thinking of making my own, bench grinder will do most of the work then finish off with file as you say. Even if you put the bolt in the battery drill and hold it to the grinder is sure helps to keep things even and ya dont burn...

Re: Bumper Bolts

If your going to paint them why not just "reshape" the heads. Im thinkin put the bolt in the drill press (or similar ) get it spinning and then use a magicut file or angle grinder (with flap disc) to reshape the head , bit of emery tape to finish her off (Nicks going to want a set of these 😉) . Must...
