Re: Grrr - still cuts out ....any ideas?

Thanks all.

The issue seems to regularly happen. Take it to the shops - return 20 minutes later, start it and it dies immediately unless I keep revving the balls off it.

I've ordered a new dizzy cap and rotor arm for now. Will report back.

Re: Cheddar Gorge meet July 2020

T'was a good day - lots of capris and good to meet everyone. The only stress I had was my bloomin carb playing up from the convoy run from WSM to Cheddar (See Q&A section) - its doing my head in!! :banghead:

Re: Chedder Gorge Meet

Thanks Andy - just picked up the message here. Whilst the laser has now been taxed - I'll have to give Dartmoor a miss this weekend as the wife is on call all weekend (vet) and, tempting though it is, I think i'd be in a whole heap of trouble to leave the kids at home. Cheddar Gorge though - will tr...

Re: Respray

Looking very smart.

Is that a taxi mirror on the passenger side?

I'd be tempted to fit some 'S' stripes :burnout:

Re: NEW CAR MEET IN DEVON

Not been but I am on the mailing list. It appears to be popular and out grew it's original location in a couple of months. It would be good if you can join in some meets on here, Weston Super Mare, Capri Club Day, Haynes Museum Breakfast Club, all in the Events Section. I can meet you locally and d...

Re: My 1985 laser

Nige / Andy D

Yes - will be good to meet up. I'm just outside Tiverton.

Mine comes off the road at the end of September, which scuppers Haynes.

Might try and go to the "Classic car and bike night" - takes place the last Thursday on the month at the Red lion Shobrooke, nr Crediton.

My 1985 laser

Thought I’d start posting some pictures of my toy, having been on ‘the other site for sometime’. Corrupted at a young age by the old man, who bought a red 1600 GL new, p/x’d it for a blue 1600GL and then finally had a 1600 laser (see pictures below). Having got the bug – I eventually got one. It’s a...
