Yes, thanks for that, it is a 1.6 pinto. It show's how little I know. I'm used to seeing small crossflows in FWD cars, and 2L pinto's in RWD but something about it made me think it wasn't a pinto. I'll get a photo of the engine tomorrow. Needs a bit of work, none of it engine related, I can get that going. All the rubber is rotten (steering rack etc.)
I just want to get it back on the road

I used to do Autograss and I've helped change and worked on a pinto engine. Didn't look the same.
