..in a diesel Yaris sadly as Abigail is only firing on 2.5 cylinders at the moment.. so don't think she would have
made it :(

But amongst the valleys and hills and inns, and sheep of course, I saw this old garage and thought of you fine ladies and gents:

I'd love an old Humber Sceptre or Snipe.. such big majestic old things.

Nice find MT :cool:

My dad bought a Mk3 Sceptre (Hunter shape) in 1974 and kept it 6 years, that was the longest he had ever owned a car. Nice cars and I imagine the earlier Humbers were good too, nice bit of luxury and reasonable prices now if you can find a decent one.

Lol! They would be absolutely useless there, we did joke about how crap owning one would be.

Also very happy to see the Welsh use cash a lot more than the south - lots of banks too, two or three in every town we went to, open most of the day, lots of shopkeepers quite outspoken about its merits over digital currency.
