Can't Help Feeling I'm Missing Out

Post by Andrew 2.8i »

I'm not on Tik Tok, but I'm curious to know whether it really is a depository of life-changing "secret" "hacks" such as this gem reported by The Mirror?
https://www.msn.com/en-gb/money/technol ... d656&ei=14

Are people really that devoid of common sense these days that they can't work something like that out for themselves?
The mind boggles....

Andrew.

What is the most worrying thing Andrew is that these cretins have the vote and are able to breed. I'm glad I'm old and decrepit.

I read those and they made me laugh!

Similar Tik Tok viral hacks pop up in the Microsoft news homepage all the time, and I'm in two minds whether it is genuine or it's all one big joke and I'm the idiot for repeated falling for this clickbait!

It seems a large percentage of them use their genitals to bugger each other if you go by the amount of deviance on the telly.

The sun visor has "multiple purposes"? No... it has one purpose.. and some have two positions.

I guess we as a species have passed our zenith. Shame. What a waste.

This type of thing :)
As we are in the mood for sharing driving hacks, I have found the big circular wheel type thing in front of you, if you rotate it anti clockwise it makes the car go left. And, get this, clockwise it goes right !!. How odd is that. I'm going to be using this from now on as I got sick of driving in straight lines.

I found another hack there are two things sticking out of the floor on my car if you press one the car goes faster if you press the other one the car stops suddenly and you hit your head on the lump of glass at the front.

Here is another little hack. There is a little lever on the stearing column that operates the turn signals. If you push it down it lets other drivers know you are about to turn left. If you push it up it lets them know you are turning right. It also stops aggression from other drivers.

While I was trying out the sunvisor thing, I discovered a new one of my own....

It relates to this little-known function.

Image

If you turn this clockwise, your in-car entertainment of choice increases in volume. Who knew?!
For the benefit of the Tik Tok generation, I will include a pictorial guide how to use it:-

Along with Whatts app, those things will never happen. I've managed 56 years without so have no need for them now :)

That's nothing Andrew! You know those trailing bits of thick sort of thread stuff that comes out of shoes? Well I was watching this old dude in the pub and he sort of... well.. it's hard to explain, but he made the thread bits sort of go into eachother and create this one ball bit out of the two single bits

I asked him to do it to mine and afterwards.. my shoes were all tight and like attached... I can't believe it! My life is totally different now! Only thing is I can't get them to go into two bits anymore and my shoes wont come off at all :(
I'm the one that leaves all those shoes in the carriageway.

That is like, totally, like, awesome!

Won't that interfere with your chosen pastime of leaving shoes in the carriageway though? :headscratch:
