Easily!
Compared to buying sheet metal it's definitely better value, and if you were to use Capri panels on a Capri you could technically say it's all original metal!

Oh no, that's devastating news. I really feel for Dan.
Thankfully, the damage looks reasonably light and repairable but that's barely any consolation. I think he's right to insist on having the repairs undertaken at a place of his choosing.

My guess is similar, maybe a bit less at say £85 -90K. Lifetime of work amongst that lot though.

Im guessing £65k. A lot of stuff but also a lot of junk so it would need not only someone with a lot of cash and space but also a means of disposing of the junk. Then there is the moving it all. A dealer in classic car parts would be my guess.
There was a guy near my Mum who used to buy a lot of interesting MOT faliures and his plan was to fix them up and make a proft. He had been buying since the 70s and when he died a couple of years ago most were well beyond saving but it was all sold to a specalist and the lot was cleared in less than a week. I know there were several Jags including an E type with a tree growing through it. It is now a new housing development.
