There is still good in this world...

Post by Fordoholic Nick »

The item itself is not big thing really but the kindness behind it is remarkable....

So we flew back from Sardinia Sat week ago (20th) and after getting my case from the baggage reclaim I noticed my address tag must have fallen off. Not the end of the world but still meant I'd have to get another one.

BUT this evening I get an email from a lady saying she found it on the baggage reclaim at Gatwick after she flew back from Marrakesh prob the same evening. She kept it safe and is sending it back to me next week. She even apologised for the delay !! She said she lost a luggage tag that was very special to her due to the person she got it from as a gift so she was worried in case i had sentimental feelings to my tag which I don't as it was brand new,

BUT now it does mean something more to me after this act of such kindness from a complete stranger 😊

I'll just,,,,cough cough...."tag" onto this thread to say what a kind gesture from this lady. She didn't have to take time out of her day, but she did. I won't be getting on her "case" for doing that.

Andrew.
