Good afternoon all and sundry,
My lugoles happen to be getting a tad warm.

I need a new fuel pipe on the car but otherwise it started fine last week and doesn't look any worse than last year.
Re. TSLA shares, I didn't say buy them then sell when they went down. I'm an investor rather than a trader so I still have all of mine, even bought another two last week - no more spare cash with £8.59 in my bank account. The extra two share are for a tractor when I need one ;)
https://www.google.com/search?q=tesla+s ... e&ie=UTF-8 Check the 1M graph, that's the general direction they're heading.

Event details passed onto Sta1ker but god knows if she'll make it, and he probably does.

Will try to set off earlier so I'm not rigging a tent in the dark!

Just as a side-note for anyone reading who won't be at the meet up:
I'm not really a Tesla salesman on commission, you know me, I couldn't work for anyone these days but I liked the product so much I bought the company

Upcoming events & positive news;
Cybertruck release - initially for staff end of august with the public roll-out in october.
New Mexico factory breaking ground within weeks.
New compact car from Mexico by end 2024.
Likely Spanish factory announcement this year.
Ford has announced that they will be doing a deal with Elon so Ford can use Tesla Superchargers.
GM followed suit - they had to really.
Little snippet of info out last week - the Tesla Model Y is the best selling car in the world.

I'm not selling at least until they're up! Currently only down 5% so could be worse haha

Hope to see you at the end of the month!

Hold on tight unless you need the cash desperately - (doesn't include new tyres for the Capri.)
Most people wouldn't recognise a Model Y driving past them and don't even know yet what a Tesla is. When they are on the wanted list of everyone looking for a new a car then the sky is still not the limit. And when they announce the robotaxi production date it'll go to the Moon then when they demo Optimus doing work in one of the Tesla factories it'll go to Mars.

Have cleaned and clayed the car for the first time in years and went and bought a machine polisher yesterday so it can at least get the rust looking shiny 😂

Tent and seats ready to roll!

Ok crew I WILL be there for the weekend but everything is completely up in the air right now so have no idea what I'm coming in, what I'm sleeping in or when I'll be arriving. Best guess is Saturday mid morning. Deb and Hugh are not coming so the Gazebo may not be with me but the BBQ will.

See you all there

Well as your local correspondent I can tell you my weather app says:-
Friday: Cloudy, Min 10, Max 22
Saturday: Cloudy, Min 15, Max 23
Sunday: Sunny spells, Min 13, Max 21
Total precipitation for the three days................. nil.

So not too bad hopefully.

I will try to get down there for a couple of hours on the Saturday, all being well.

I may be somewhat delayed....
The fuel tank straps have elected to snap this morning on the way to work so I am currently sat by the side of the road awaiting recovery.

Not sure where I am going to get new straps from in a hurry?!

That's a bummer. If it had been a few days ago I could have posted my spares on loan.
Are there none on your 3.0 that you can use?

Not a bad shout actually! May have to drive over to the old man's and get them... Not sure if it will be a rusty job though.... 🤔
At this point am thinking I will need to bring the GL again this year rather than the Laser as I was hoping to 😢

The more I think about it the more I think will bring the GL - would be an hour's drive to my dad's where the S is, then the time to try and get the straps of that, hope they aren't totally shagged and don't break getting them off, then another hour back before I even start trying to fit them - all before midday tomorrow when I leave haha

Just need to check the GL is still operational, was going to give it a set of points as wasn't running great but will make a decision later

Absolute worst case I will bring the fez!!

Well it appears that capris just hate me!
Got back to check on the GL which I haven't driven this week, but changed the ATF/gearbox oil on at the weekend and treated to a new sump gasket at the weekend as it was looking like mud rather than Cherry red, now for some unknown reason the fucking thing takes almost a minute to engage a gear, and even then keeps 'slipping out' and lurches around

Fucking cars

That's nothing to bother about, I had the engine out of my Pajero (three times) a fortnight back (2nd replacement after the record temps last year fried the original, stuck four hours on the M25 with blocked Dartford Crossing) It still leaks orrid black oil so needs to come out again so it's parked at Mum's where the Capri was.

Brakes are bled on the 2.0S this afto after sorting the nearside sticking piston last night with a 10:55pm finish.

Camping gear now strewn across the carpets.
