Hi everyone,
Quick question, can anyone tell me which one of the two plastic heater hose stubbs is the inlet to the heater? I have been told it's the top one of the two but according to the Haynes manual the bottom one is the inlet

Re: Heater hose connections
Bottom inlet would purge air out better when refilling system , but it might purge ok tother way too, but apart from that it probly dont make a of difference
Sometimes I talk to myself ... and we both have a good laugh

The water is going to flow through the matrix regardless. Don't think it's that essential to get them the right way round tbh.
If you swap them over it may even flush out 30+ years of crud.
