When we were camping I think I mentioned that I had a new Fiesta incoming. Well it’s here! :D

New and old:

Despite the obvious penny pinching by Ford I’m quite pleased with it, the overall build quality has improved and the opening panoramic roof is quite cool. Mechanically not much has changed, there’s a small torque increase from the mighty 3cyl and this one doesn’t have coilovers (they were only fitted to the limited editions) but that’s about it.

Battleship grey wasn’t an option incidentally! :lol:

1980 3.0S, crash damage resto
1993 Fiesta 1.1

Currently full up and no more space but I still want a 2.8...

Love the green. I've mentioned it before on here but green is a well underrated colour on cars.. especially with black wheels and trim. Are those wheels chrome? Or is it some newfangled posh metallic black colour? Hard to tell!

Cheers, it is a nice colour (as was the orange to be fair). It’s funny how things come back into fashion!

The wheels are “Magnetite Matt” which is a dark metallic grey colour. Talking of newfangled though, it has a fully digital dash. Witchcraft I tell thee!

Nice :cheers:

A mate has just bought a Mk8 Fiesta ST, apparently it goes like stink. He has an orange 2017 Focus ST too (although diesel still goes well).

Surprised how big the Fiesta is, nearly the size of the earlier Focus! Everything is so high/tall now it makes the likes of a Capri look tiny in comparrison.

As for the interior tech I've no interest in it at all, my Mustang had things I had no idea about :headscratch:

To me a car is all about;
1.Looks
2.Sound
3.Performance

I noticed the size of the fiestas yesterday - parked up my MK3 next to a MK7 in Tesco yesterday and the thing was like a bloody tank compared to my titchy little thing! :lol:
