Saw this rather nice 3.0S on the M6 this afternoon and as we were in a 50 stretch the other half was able to get a quick snap.
Also saw a really nice RS2000 on a flat bed. Looked like the sort of car that is ferried between shows. Sorry, no pics of that one.
Spotted on the M6

Gnice. Though I don't fully enjoy seeing Capris, or any olde Fords on the road, if I'm not in one! Feels like a missed opportunity
I'm the one who leaves all those shoes in the carriageway.

Re: Spotted on the M6
You know what Tom, I think it was the A9 (duelled section) we passed 3 MGBs in convoy yesterday tootling along at around 50, passed another on the M6 tootling along at about 50. There was the RS2000 on a truck, maybe for good reason, another really nice looking MKII Escort on a truck on the A1 today, again for perhaps for good reason, and then the 3.0 yesterday. I was hoping that as the 50 mph restriction ended it would come blatting past but no. No one actually seems to go out and drive their cars. I kind of get it but it just seems a shame. Are the owners really enjoying them?

She's a beauty, is that color Jupiter red?

Yes we all take off and maintain a respectable speed on the motorway don't we. It's rude not to!Peter-S wrote: ↑Sun Aug 28, 2022 10:18 pmYou know what Tom, I think it was the A9 (duelled section) we passed 3 MGBs in convoy yesterday tootling along at around 50, passed another on the M6 tootling along at about 50.
