1986 2.0 Laser Brake Servo

Post by xJDMidget »

Hi all!

This is my first post and as luck would have it, I am trying to source something proving tricky to find. My 2.0 Laser has a rotten brake servo that is falling apart, so is in need of a replacement. Has anyone got a second hand one for sale on here? No luck on eBay or Facebook groups. :swear:

If not, could anyone recommend new alternative servos that fit or could be used with little modification? Do the Land Rover series ones for with modification?

Anyway, thanks in advance for any help, with any luck I can get it on the road soon! :drive:

Cheers, Jack.

Sadly already spoken to Martin and he’s got nothing, thanks for the suggestion though!

Welsome to the forum. Wish I could help you but as you have already discovered, it's a tricky item to find/replace. If you do have a solution though please report back, it'd help many others!

Currently full up and no more space but I still want a 2.8...

Peter previously mentioned that a 2.8 servo from a Granada was a possible swap - maybe the servo is an option from a granny?

Otherwise as others have said, it is a ballache to find!

Cheers
