The Ford Capri Laser Page

Hi All, I’m new here so I’m likely to ask a load of dumb questions, equally I’m sure I give you some pointers. I’ve just bought my first Capri and the cassette player doesn’t work!! Looking at the ebay price of £400 you can stuff off if I’m paying that so having an electronics understanding I took mine apart and didn’t realise how basic they are inside. Anyway it would seem that these have two major flaws, the motor and the spring switch both of which are going to be a killer for the cassette working. Mine was the spring switch which once cleaned got mine up and running. If you want some photos then let me know and I’ll point you in the right direction.
