Sunroof stuck

Hi Guys, factory fitted tilt/slide sunroof stuck in the tilted open position, no matter what i do can't get it to close, anyone encounter this before ?
Any ideas what's wrong or how to get it to close, Thanks., p.s was working perfectly up until few days ago,

Could you get an assistant to give it a jiggle while you fiddle with the knob?

After that, get someone to gently coax the sunroof up and down as you gingerly work the winder. Don't force anything!
I'm the one who leaves all those shoes in the carriageway.
