Absolutely the good old days. Stoneleigh was a brilliant venue. The car park was every bit as good as the show itself. We didn't realise then just how good the scene was. Fast forward 30 odd years to what we have now - depressing.

There's still plenty of interest and youngans joining the scene - you can't go back in time, but you can improve today. Don't be disheartened, keep the fun times going!

In fact, that reminds me, I have a few mates in the MX5 scene. They are exactly the same as the RWD Ford scene 15 years back. They'd all be driving Escorts and Capris if they were cheaper and they love the old Fords. A bunch were interested in coming to CRaP 2020, but... well, you know.

I'll redouble my efforts.

Don't give up gents!

Yes an amazing place Stoneleigh, cars lined up in the barns and the roads outsideI don't know whether it's getting older but I don't think it is, there was more reward because it took more effort pre Internet and mobile phones etc ( I know that goes against this forum 🤔) . Technology has killed enjoyment in the way it used to be. That's how I feel anyway.
