Well another weekend and another breakfast meet. Thankfully the Petrol Heads have this meet back on at Runnymede, after cancelling last Months thanks to idiots leaving like, well idiots!!! Plenty of footage on YouTube of these…. Anyway, enough of this, so a nice early start this morning and I was there quite early, or so I thought, but there were a few already in, so let’s start off with this.

So now I’ve cracked off with the Capri’s, lets stick with a few more…. Here’s a really nice Laser…

So then I decided to go and get a coffee, as it was still early and cars where still arriving, so I wandered onto the Cafe, I got my Coffee and wandered back out to see this looking straight back at me….. I somehow wandered straight past this….

Absolutely stunning….

So onto this really honest 1.6 L, my first Cappa was one of these in Red and no where near as many extras…

Then I spotted this beauty pulling in….

Then a brilliant Laser. I’m starting to like these MKII Grills on the MKIII…… Humm!!!

Followed by another cracking Laser… Ops, same one from earlier, sorry!!!

Then as I thought this was all for the Cappa’s, I saw this one pulling in!!! What a stunner, all the way from Germany???

So that’s all the Capri’s I saw while I was there. BUT!!! More to come at the end of this…. So lets stick with the Fords for now and what about this one…. Sounded the Dogs did this…

Got to love a Granny!!!

And a Fast Ford….

There where also some stunning Escorts out to play today too….

From the Fox & Pheasant the other week…

And in White….

And back to Black…

And a kitted out MKII RS2000…

And the final Escort….

I always like the MKIII Cortina’s, this sounds the boll0cks too…

Back to the beginning of the Cortina’s now…

Next ones…

These do look good on the Minilites…

A couple of nice Fiesta’s…

So the Estates then…

So how about a different Resto-Mod then….

So while we’re on the ‘modification’ page. How about this!!! What is it??? A Frankenstein car, or a Spitstein, or a Franken-Fire??? Your guess is as good as mine, but what a cracker!!!

So while on these ‘Modified’ motors, how’s this Beetle then???

Maybe a tad uncomfortable….

But here’s why you need those seats…

I believe a Scooby STi…….?????
So while we’re on the Fast rear engine cars, how’s about a few Porsches??? This was very nice…

Got to love the old Targa’s with the Coffee table sticking out the back…

Another coffee table….

No coffee table, but tons of room inside….

Love the wire basket centre console….
More motors hanging out the back… Perhaps not quite as fast, but double the fun I recon???

Brilliant. Love Beach Buggy’s….
Lets keep with the VW’s for a few more then, this bug was great!!!!!

A Brilliant Pick Up….

Another great Pick Up….

Still got to love these, even though they did help with the demise of the Capri…. (at the time!!!)

And a MKI

Here’s a pic I was laughing at as I took it… Could you get anything bigger, nest to anything smaller???

Lovely little motor…

Next to something a little more extreme….

A Lister XJS…

Let's go a bit random now…. So how about a nice Volvo???

Or a Pink Cadillac…

Complete with Skull splitter up front!!!

Or a very well sorted TR4a

And keeping with the TR’s… A cracking 6…

And another Triumph….

Or a nice old MG????

And a view from the cockpit….

Just keeping with the Brits a little longer….. Another MG…

Or a nice Jag and TVR.

Lets stick with the TVR’s for a couple then… This old Griffith was stunning…

I’ve lost my other TVR pics, so lets stick with the Open Top Brit…

And onto the Mini’s… A very nice nearly standard car…

And not so standard…

Another pic here which had me smiling… Do you ever see a car and think to yourself, Humm, too much wing…..

One of the stars of the meet for me this one. A very tidy Audi Quattro Ur…

OK then, Americana time… This is a cracker to kick this section off….

This has some of the ‘Best’ flame work I’ve seen!!!! I hope the pics show it….???

Very nice…

These are big bruisers still…

No Americana section is complete without the Mustang’s….

Phew, I’m getting writers cramp…. I’ll have to end this soon now. But first, a couple of customs….
I love this and what a colour!!!

And an orange one. I need to see if I can find the pic of the exhaust exit under the car… It really was something else…

Found it, unfortunately this does not show it in all its glory!!! This was a pice of Art…

And the last Rod…..

So as I said at the beginning. A few more of the Capri’s then. I got chatting with Shaun (Sorry if I’ve misspelt your name if your reading this…) And once a few cars had left, due to the fun and games with the Exit, we put our cars together, so 1 became 2….

Then 2 became 3…..

This was a stunner, all done over the last 2 years through COnVID….. Original Ford X Pack and wheels, the lot…. Amazing!!!!

Well, this was my Sunday morning… A great break away from things and really enjoyed this one, get chatting with people too!!! I hope you all enjoy looking through these pics!!! Cheers for now all,
John…
