Hi all,

Well, another Sunday another breakfast meet. Just a small reasonably local one to nip down to, arranged by the Petrol Heads guys, same ones who do Runnymede (unfortunately off this Month now, due to the Muppet's leaving last Month, look on YouTube). Anyway, lets leave that for another topic, onto this meet.... Just a small one, but a brilliant range of cars where here, new to not so new!!! Lets crack on!!!!

So to start with, lets get the new stuff out of the way shall we....??? So we'll start with this Americana...

What a Beast, massive!!! BUT.... How come it looks to have considerably less room inside than our Capris??? Very strange!!!

Oh, here's another one!!!

Image20220320_102611 by jon taylor, on Flickr
Tell you what though,, even though they look to have less room, I wouldn't mind a Blast in one!!! :drive: :drive: :drive:

So do I keep with the new or Americana??? New, lets keep with the new for now...
First one of these I've seen close up and I must say, that is one LONG bonnet!!! I was stunned how far back you sit in this... A bit cross eyed for my taste, but what a car!!!

So then, that's the new while I was there, so back to the Americana then... These are always a cracking looking motor!!!

Got to love these.... I passed these going to get my Coffee....
Image20220320_095059 by jon taylor, on Flickr

I wished I wasn't driving when I got inside to get my coffee!!! I was tempted to get a cab home seeing this little line up I can tell you....
Image20220320_101451 by jon taylor, on Flickr

Opss, sorry, back to the cars!!!! Mmmmmm, Timmy Taylor's Landlord!!!!

Sorry, cars!!!! So here's a little more Americana....
Image20220320_095000 by jon taylor, on Flickr
This really was clean!!! Beautiful.....

Seen this before too, but I still think it's brilliant!!! CF2???
Image20220320_094953 by jon taylor, on Flickr

Not too sure what I was going for here!!! The Americana or the Triumph!!! Humm.....
Image20220320_094751 by jon taylor, on Flickr

Lets go with the Triumph shall we!!! Another beautiful car!!!

Amazing cars John, and great photos. Thanks for uploading so many for our delight!
How do you find all these breakfast meets to go to? It's a pity they all have to be at breakfast time though!

Andrew.

Cheers again Andrew,

I had to turn to technology and joined a thing call Facebook.... The devil's work!!! But joined a few groups and keep an eye out for these little get togethers.
I think I found one for Sunday coming now, up Nort Weald airfield. Fingers crossed if I can get out to it with my new circumstances??? Cheers,

John...

P.S. typo alert. Boyle car = Doyle car.... stupid me!!!

You're getting about a bit so far this year John

Nice weather at the moment for car shows/drives/meets especially for those tax exempt! When I tax mine April that will soon change :)

I can imagine what sort of antics caused an event to cancel  Youtube is full of it, and although fun for some it will close down alot more

Meets appear to be worse for it than shows, we had one showing off locally last year and it seems he has been banned from many events now :applaud:

Hey Andy,

I've another 3 years to go for the Tax exempt card buddy!!! Mind you, my insurance was cheaper this year as I've taken it off 'Commuting to work', as I work inside the ULEZ joke!!! So no point having that anymore!!! :xd: :xd: :xd:

Cheers for now,

John....
