Finally got out to another breakfast meet today. It was a very late start though, but I did manage to chuck a bucket at the Cappa before I set off for a change this time...
So lets get into it then, as I say, I was very late to it today and I guess most had already left by the time I got there, but there where still some tasty motors there..... Lets start with this Escort...

Unfortunately I didn't have chance to have a chat with the owner, as I had the folks in tow... Hence the reason I was late.... Dad broke 1 hip in Sep then the other in Dec...

Nice one John, some of us are still SORN!

I always liked the Mk2 1600 Sport. When I was 16 I would sometimes get a lift to work with a chap that had a S reg red one with 4 cibies on the front, always wanted one but it didn't happen

Great pics, enjoyed looking at those, thanks. Espcecially like the white Capri with vinyl roof, something about those roofs which are just so appealing. And the Herbie car, the film/TV cars are always something special to see.

Nice mix of cars! Do love the Escort Mk2 Sport!, probably rarer than most of the "sporty" escorts and in many ways the proper Mk2 Mexico?

Yep, defo something to be said for the MKII 1600 Sports, but this had been breathed on for sure!!! Still a great car though... SORN!!! How can you use it then???

Yep, cheers, was hilarious getting them both in & out of the Cappa to get down there, but once in, they both commented on how comfy the ride was!!! I will admit to limiting my right foot somewhat to normal use though!!! But Mother took a tumble yesterday and now has 2 broken wrists to match dads 2 hips!!!

The White Cappa with the vinyl roof was a stunner for sure!!!! Really looked the part in the flesh!!!

Dad's doing very well now, but mutha is still in hospital, we're off to see her in a bit and get some homehelp set up. She'll be OK in 6 weeks time, question is, will I be!!!
