Judging by the fact the part number is from 1978 I'd probably say so yeah - 280 tax hits again!

Some people it's all about the money
The last pair I bought cost £25 inc postage.
Admittedly they were just the satin black finish but to paint them any colour wouldn't have cost that much.

I'd be buying these for a fifth of the price
https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/363701062085 ... Sw06dh7UF3
Or these for a tenth of the price!
https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/165310220863 ... Swucxh-BDX
Can of paint from Halfords is £8...
I might buy these £40 set, paint them green and sell them on at a 900% profit

£1140 plus postage for 2 mats, you have to want them badly.
I'm after some early Sierra waffle mats, that's how I saw these.

Crikey!
I wonder if the seller ever thought that they'd sell for that much? Must have thought all their Christmases had come at once!
with the waffle mats, I hope that you can find some.
Andrew.

Yes that's waffle.
From the date I would say 1985 maybe a later Sierra but definatly not mine as I need this shape which are the earlier models
https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/125110143468 ... SwCWlh6ZKv Even this ad is incorrect as later cars mats are different.
Thanks Andrew, a mate has early front pair in his later Sierra so hopefully I can get hold of them at some point, that would be a start.
I bought a cheap set similar to those in the link above, but as the car is so original I thought a set of OE would finish it off
