Looks good, 45 quid for 6 people, couldn't select a higher number! I just tried to call but no answer so will email them now. What dates are people free? Usual CRaP days?Major_Tom wrote: ↑Tue Mar 15, 2022 1:24 pmSounds great I will look it up.Bug wrote: ↑Sun Mar 13, 2022 2:45 pm I know it's a bit further East, but just down the road from me is Old Buckenham Country Park. Lots of camping space and a licensed cafe with a big decked area overlooking a small lake.
Ben Devlin, the owner, is an ex-racer (Endurance stuff in the US mostly) and has loads of car club dropping by.
Maybe worth a look? It's about 5 miles off the A11 near Attleborough, so access is pretty easy.
PS. If you do go there would you mind another RWD motor with a long bonnet joining you? A Z4 would fit in there nicely I reckon.![]()

Re: CRaP 2022motor with a long
Hi Tom
Usual CRaP days would be the first weekend in July. If it happens I have a rescheduled Guns 'N Roses concert on Friday 1st July and tentative plans to meet friends at a Shuttleworth air show on Sunday 3rd so really that weekend is out for me. Nothing much else on the calendar at present though.
Re: CRaP 2022
Daisy is busy that weekend too so no worries.
Axl Rose
well jell mate.
What do we think about the following weekend gents and gentesses? That's the 8st, 9rd and 10nd of July.

Closest you'll get to pool is the lake

I'd suggest you have a word with Ben and explain it may get a little noisy so can you be in a corner somewhere.
They have a lot of caravans and tents there too, so they do police the noise after about 1030pm.
If it's definitely going ahead let me know and I'll pop up and join in for a while if that's ok?
No point me camping though.
Re: CRaP 2022
They also want 50 quid per person for two nights camping!? I explained we always clear up and don't need electrical hookups etc!
Doesn't seem right considering it's 45 quid for a plot for 6.
I did say Capris, but I think by 'club', they are thinking of some prestige Goodwood level of well offness.
I am just in the process of talking them down to 20 - 25 a head, but if anyone else knows any good campsites, let me know and I'll get on it.

Campsites always seem to get a bit concerned when you say 'club' as it could well be the Vauxhall Corsa U21 club

TBF, I only go there for a beer every now and then and it is noticeably building up from its bare beginnings.
Looks like you'll need somewhere a bit cheaper.
