(Just finished this and now I realise this is very pic heavy. Get a cuppa!!! You have been warned....

So I was able to sneak out again today and get down to Runnymede again for the Petrol Heads Breakfast meet. Wow, what a busy one this was. I got there about 09:10, the meet having started at 09:00. I was able to get nicely parked up down at the end where it can get very busy with the direction of one of the Petrol Head stewards (Cheers if you're reading this...

So as I say, it was so busy and just kept getting busier & busier all the time... So I'm not too sure where to start now. I know, we'll go with the Americana Cars first, there where some real crackers here I can tell you... but with a couple of others thrown in for good measure to get the ball rolling...

This was the meaning of the word HUGE!!! I had to stand well back to get all this in....

Then through the window.... I recon you could play Hide n Seek in this....

One I've seen down a few meets before, but still just stunning... And you got-a-love the General Lee wheels....

I know this is a Ford, but it sure reminds me of the GTO....

I don't think I've seen one of these before, but I'm glad I did today....

How much do you recon the Chrome on the front of this weighs???

And they just kept on coming in... Another one I don't think I've seen before here and it did get a lot of attention too...

Another want-to-be GTO???

I finally worked out how to get 2 to fit in one shot...

We've got a Mustang sneaking in here, so we'll stick with the Mustangs for a bit after this I recon....

Here we go, a slightly better view of this beauty!!!!

I hope you like Mustangs, there are a few!!! But when they look this good and all different....

Subtle modifications...

Slightly more original if this is your thing???

Just looks mean!!!

OK, we got one with the bonnet (sorry, hood) up!!!! Engine shot, what do you recon???

OK, Yep.... Engine shot!!!

Sorry about the quality, the Sun was merciless this morning....
So, if we're now done with the Mustang, lets go for a stunning Camero!!! You must love these???

And a slightly different take on a Camero here...

And on to a Corvette then... Even though the Sun was tough to work with, this came up a treat, I didn't even get my shadow across this one!!! Well, just a little......

Well, I think this does it for the Americana cars... So how about the Americana Trucks then???
Lets start with this one!!! Nice and dirty!!!

There was always someone round this and I could not get a better pic... Is this The fall Guys truck, with the smaller cab???
Lets get a Ford in here quickly!!!

A bit slammed here...

And a very nice Step-Side.... Looks nearly original???

So lets finish the Americana section with this amazing motor!!! Not really my thing, but you just got love this when you stand next to it...

So, I suppose we need to get onto the Euros then. How should we start this???? I know, a cross-over which thinks its American... How does this tickle your fancy??? If not, maybe the plate does???

I was on the look out for Adam West or Burt Ward, but the closest I got was AdamC.....

OK then, from the Wacky to the stunning.... Who honestly did NOT want one of these at some point???

Full flared arch, UR Quattro...
So a bit of a giggle then, but still brilliant. The Beach Bug I saw down here before (on the right) with its Brother!!!! Amazing stuff...

Lets keep with the VW theme for a short while!!! Looking good the Corrado's now...

A very nice pair. Hard top & soft top!!! Brilliant again...

Lets use the old light holder for an air intake and stick the badge over the other one!!! This really was a tidy motor!!!

And a very nice pair to finish the VW's off then!!!!

Got the modern lighting up front. Looks good but I'm unsure for my personal taste...

And VW based...

And finish this section off with a German. What a stunning little car this is...

What shall we go onto now? How about a nice race car???

This is a real tool....
Actually, talking of Tools.... there was a right tool showed up.....

What a Beast!!! The noise it made, I recon it must do approx 2 Gallons per Rev!!! It sounds awesome!!!
So a little lost where to go from this....???? I know, full on Luxury!!! This was Clean!!!!

Tell you what, now I've started with the Brit's, lets keep going on this theme for now!!!
Hows about a few Fast Brits??? Don't know who couldn't be bothered to wash the Capri next to this!!!

Love the dash on these!!!

Opss, sorry, another Mustang snuck in... They were breading I recon!!!!

A mini TVR Convoy...

This is just simply porn!!! Sorry about my shadow again!!!

And a very nice Jag MKII. F reg. the first car I drove was an F reg Austin 1800 Land Crab....

Staying with the Brits, a change in pace...

And again, staying with the Brits, another change in pace!!!

Well, if that's a quick car, I'm sure this is too..... What do you recon???

There really where some fantastic Mini's here...

Slightly more standard... One of the last I believe???

And now for a really good looking Stag!!!

And another stag...

Well, I guess we'd best get to the Ford's then, but just before we do, a little treat for the 2 wheel fans amongst us...

Wow!!! Still working too!!!

So, onto the Fords, as ever the Escort theme was strong here, so lets start with this and a very nice, what I think is a Roman Bronze Escort. The same as my dad had on a MKIII Cortina... Before the drivers door fell off on the M62 less than a week old!!!!

I do like the MKII RS2000....

A Very Tidy car this one...

A Couple of well known MKII's from YouTube here...

And another well know car here still looking all the part!!!

I had to hunt this one down, hiding near the entrance by the cafe!!!

There was just so much here today!!!

Stunning again!!! And they kept rolling in...

Escort Cossy wheels, really setting them off here!!!

This really sounded nice, just backing up as I was taking a snap of the Corvette...

A Very nice Cortina, swamped by today's wedges....

I've met this chap a few times now and his Cortina is simply stunning!!! Running the Steels today!!!

This is just SO WELL turned out!!! Brilliant...

So onto the Granny, you might have caught sight of this in an earlier pic.....

Some how understated, but right in your face at the same time!!!
So I guess I better finish with a Capri then, as this is a Capri site!!! So does this count???

OK then, there was only 1 Capri there today. Sorry!!!! No bucket this time... Its just been ceramic coated again, so I can't wash it for a couple of weeks!!!! Phew!!!

A quick mention to Jay in the Red Fiesta, great chatting with you today and love your car!!! I'm looking forward to seeing the Capri one day!!!

Well, that was my morning... And what a great morning it was. Cold and slippy under tyre!!! Old Fords love that you know!!!

John...
