Door removal Mk3

Post by Timo20 »

Hi looking to remove the drivers door of my MK3 by removing the pins.

Is this possible and is the Sykes pickavant tool the best for the job, also does anyone know what diameter the pins are?

Also I have some rust around the top hinge of the door, is this common and is it repairable as the door is overwise perfect.

Many thanks

You'd be better off unbolting the door from then car then try to remove the pins once it is off the car.
