So I had forgotten about this breakfast meet till first thing this morning when it hit me, it was the second Sunday in the Month. So I set off a little late to get down to this and I'm glad I did, what a turn out... So I got down there and the Marshall said I might need to park in the wet field!!! Ekk!!! But then said to have a little drive round to see if anyone had left. So I did and luckily as I pulled round the corner there was a big 4X4 leaving, leaving me a nice big space next to the Capri's Nemesis!!!! The Opel Manta!!!! Oh dear... Luckily I really like these and one of my mates had one when we were growing up... I do remember how good these were... What do you recon???

That's all of mine this time..... Promise!!!
So lets crack on with a few Americana motors then.... So is this a V8 or a V10??? I haven't got a clue!!!!

I recon this is a V8 though???

Really nice lines on this...

Ah yes!!! V8 indeed....

Stunning if you like Engines. Sorry, BIG Engines!!!
You should have heard the Growl on this!!! I think they'd fitted extra Noise in it somehow!!!!

This guy was risking it in the field!!! But then again, his Rubber should be wide enough to get him out if the worst happened!!!

I'm guessing from the badge, this to is a V8???

OK, what next... How about a little Euro fun???
So start with this Pug..... Very Nice...

Before you say anything, Yes!!! This is the proper one!!!!

Hows about another fast Euro!!!???

I really do like these, but still unsure if I'd prefer the 928???

Another pretty quick Euro here for you...

NO, Not the Metro!!! (Rover 100???) I did my driving test in a Metro like this with BSM all those years ago... My foot covered both the Brake & Accelerator at the same time, so kept stalling it.... But the examiner realised and I got a pass!!! Phew!!!

OK, the other end of the Euro spectrum then. Andrew, over to you again!!! The infamous Fiat 500 Estate!!!

Well, time to get onto the Brits then. So while we're chatting about learners. Hows about this Moggy!!! With the learner driving it... What a way to learn. Hats off!!! Brilliant!!!!

A very tidy MG...

The red MG....

The other red MG.... A bit of a cracker this one!!!

So lets do the Stags to start with, as there where a few there, all great examples!!! So the White Stag...

The Red Stag...

The Orange stag......

And nicely onto the Triumph TR range!!!!

Slightly more modern TR..... The Blue one...

The Yellow'y white one....

The White one...

Lets stick with the Triumphs for now...

Lets keep this weeks theam going then... A Herald, the Red one!!!!

The Black one, in a bit more detail...

So a few faster Brits then.... Lets start with the Jag MKII, in red....

The other Jag MKII in red. But a bit more detail....

Go on then.... The Engine!!!! What do you recon, Stunning????

So a newer Jag...
Was it Gareth Hunt who drove this in The New Avengers???

An older Jag, but still a fast one!!!!

So how about a well sorted Rover then???

So onto a few Quick Brits.... We'll start with this one..... A treat to follow thought....

I would not like to have to clean those wheels.... Mind, there were a few wheels with spokes about today!!!!
These wheels will be slightly easier to clean I recon!!!!

Absolute beauty...

OK then, a treat as promised!!!

I tell you. this barely came up to my belt and I could hardly get my foot under the sills...

What a dash!!!!!

I really don't know how you get in and out of these if you're my size!!!

Its a shame the Europa wasn't parked next to these!!!

OK then, we'll finish with the Fords. But if you're waiting to see a few Capri's. You'll have to scroll back to the top of this page I'm afraid!!! Sorry...
So a few Escorts then.... We'll start with this blown one!!!!

Amazing art work on the Cam Cover!!!

The Yellow more-door one...

The yellow 2 door one...

And a final More-door..... Very nicely turned out...

OK then. There where a lot of cars here this morning and I've had to whittle the pics down. BUT!!! I have to show you all this one!!! What a CAR!!!! Enjoy!!!!

Anyone know how to drive this???

Well, that was my morning this morning. I had a great time down here as ever and the coffee was hot & wet!!!! I hope you all enjoy looking through these pics as much as I enjoyed taking them.... All the very best for now, cheers,
John...
