Hi all,
So I had forgotten about this breakfast meet till first thing this morning when it hit me, it was the second Sunday in the Month. So I set off a little late to get down to this and I'm glad I did, what a turn out... So I got down there and the Marshall said I might need to park in the wet field!!! Ekk!!! But then said to have a little drive round to see if anyone had left. So I did and luckily as I pulled round the corner there was a big 4X4 leaving, leaving me a nice big space next to the Capri's Nemesis!!!! The Opel Manta!!!! Oh dear... Luckily I really like these and one of my mates had one when we were growing up... I do remember how good these were... What do you recon???

Great pics again John
OLE still looking good I still remember seeing it forsale online when it had 19k miles on it and the price it was advertised for
I do like an old Triumph and the Rover P6. I had Stag back in 2003, my first taste of classics although it was a pretty unreliable piece of crap. Saying that I would still like a well sorted one!
Having had the newer Mustang, you can't beat the older american muscle cars, and in hindsight maybe that's what I should have had albeit getting used to LHD again
In the late 80s I test drove a black Manta GTE Hatchback (I often used to drive around dealers on a Sunday afternoon asking to test drive something I fancied usually with no intention of buying ) as much as I liked it and wanted to own it, it didn't go as well as the XR3i that I had at the time and left me underwhelmed so I left it.

Great photos as always, John.
Your Capri is looking as stunning as always, the usual bucket of water has worked wonders after your recent exploits!
It looks like you've discovered a brilliant meet here, I can't believe the high standard of cars that make the effort to attend in the middle of winter. That Silver Ghost must have attracted a lot of attention.
Andrew.
