Been a while since I've posted owt, so I decided to break the habit before the end of the year... I had a lot of bad luck with my Cappa during lock-down, which thankfully Ford-o-holic Nock helped me out with a great deal... Thanks Nick and Happy Birthday!!!! It was a shame you couldn't make this one...
So decided to get out to the last (I believe its the last?) Petrolheads Runnymede meet, and what a COLD start this was... Had to wait 15 mins for the screen to defrost, let alone me!!! Anyhow, eventually set off to meet up with a few people at a Starbucks down by the Airport, it was a cracking drive at this time of the morning with the frost still on the roads!!!

Anyway, getting near I caught up with a stunning Escort, then convoyed (2 of us still counts as a convoy. Doesn't it????) in behind to the meet for the arranged convoy to the main meet / show. Here's a few snaps for the Starbucks...
Here's the Escort I followed.... Saves getting lost!!!

A few more!!! All amazing, but really liked the Sierra rescue truck at the end...

Hidden between us was a stunning Mini... with one of the best stickers on the rear window!!! Got to love this...

So having consumed some Hot Coffee, it was time to hit the road again... Still must have been about 0'c???
We arrived nice and early at Runnymede and hit the cafe, just ot find out we'd parked in the wrong place and the meet was further in the park!!! So I'll start off with the guys who must have B&LLS of STEEL.... No way could I have driven in, in one of these!!!! Amazing!!!

This was the best Beach Buggy I think I've ever seen... The camera really does not do it or the paint justice!!!

For the bike lovers... This is a stunning bit of work!!! I think I heard the owner say it was an Ex-Police bike...

So how about a bit of American muscle then???

Everyone loves a trash-can??? No disrespect meant.... I love these!!!

The size of these does NOT come across in the Pic's. Trust me!!!

And onto the Brit's now then...
I've seen this before and its still beautiful in the flesh!!!

If I was ever going to have a convertible, it would just have to be a TR6....

So onto the Cortina's then... And some really stunning examples...

Loved this CF...

A little collection of some Campers then...

We'll drop another VW in here... I think you'll appreciate it???

And now onto the Capri's then.... Well, this one anyway!!!

And now the last Capri there when I was there...

And another shot of Inkys Tow Truck from the Starbucks earlier.... Fantastic!!!
Well, I left here early as I was heading down to another meet at Boxhill, but I was there too early and I had my dad with me, who's just recently had a Hip op and it was starting to play up, so I had to leave before anyone got there. Well, 1 other MKII Capri in bright Orange which was stunning, again, I've seen this before... But that was my Sunday. I hope you all enjoy looking through these? Cheers for now...
John...
