Let me guess, mainly Fiesta and Focus ST's and Focus RS's

Re: I’m at ford fair, who is here!
What a great guess

I spent the day at a local show with Rover P4's, and plenty of other classics including a very nice 1974 Capri 1.6 XL

It was great to have my first Mr Whippy in 2 years too

I've heard it called Focus Fair for years80s-new-man wrote: ↑Tue Aug 10, 2021 5:26 am Yeah… they ought to call it something else… we’ll the Capri she had a good 2.5 hr run there and back I suppose…

As you say good to get the Capri out whatever! There was a Mk1 Ford Granda/Consul with a Cosworth engine at the show I went to on Sunday, it sounded more like a V8

It's a pity that the big Ford shows don't attract many classics these days.

Saying that I don't want to drive a minimum of 3 hours to get to one.
Some classic owners don't gel with modern/modified car drivers and vice versa, maybe that puts them off attending same shows

I don't dislike the ST, RS and Mustang etc, but seeing hundreds in a field isn't my idea of a good day out. Most are modified and all much of a muchness and that's why I won't do meets now as too much I'm not interested in!
