Looks excellent.. Have you got rid of the Cortina Lotis or started a collection? Seems a long long time ago that I came time to your place and bought that interior from the Highland Green car.chap280 wrote: ↑Sat Dec 24, 2022 5:51 pmESSEXV6ESSEX wrote: ↑Sat Dec 24, 2022 3:43 pm Just caught up with your progress Paul and I have to say it looks sh*t, you must be disappointed. Yes it seems a long time ago sometimes and shorter then it is some others. Great stuff on the builds. I heard/read somewhere that you had been unwell so apologies. I hope you are on the mend and all sorted so all the best. What did you make of the Cosworth? Was it standard? I was a bit underwhelmed but it didn't put me off, the one I drove was standard. It was down in Reading/Windsor way on, one owner low miles, I put a deposit on it but through work I couldn't get the time to go down and pick it up. £6k it was, I have regretted it to this day. Excellent on the RS3100, any pics or a link to the thread?chap280 wrote: ↑Sun Jan 08, 2023 4:37 pmLong time no see mate.ESSEXV6ESSEX wrote: ↑Sat Dec 24, 2022 6:25 pmLooks excellent.. I sold the Lotus and I had a mk1 cortina gt that done and sold.I also had a 3 door cossie which I sold.I have this 3.0s now and a RS3100 that I will do after this and then that's my lot.As in no more restorations
I've had heart trouble. Had to have a couple of operations but hopefully ok now.I bought the 3 door Cosworth and put it in the garage and didn't even look at it.Not really .my thing. My mate had deal with me with the 3.0s and cash my way.The cossie was Chipped to 270 bhp apart from that untouched.ESSEXV6ESSEX wrote: ↑Sat Jan 21, 2023 2:02 pmYes it seems a long time ago sometimes and shorter then it is some others.
