Here are the planned dates for this year https://www.haynesmotormuseum.com/event ... -post-1980
Now charging £5 entry payment in advance through the link in the link If cancelled then a refund or move your entry to another event.
Not keen paying when I have been for free, but I understand why they are charging with recent/current situation.
I might be interested in Easter Sunday 4th April but only if dry, so will have to think about it as refund etc or not I prefer to pay cash on the day.

Re: Haynes Breakfast Meets 2021
This is a great event with a good variety of cars, but will it continue to attract so many people now they will have to pay to enter?
Sadly, I'll be giving it a miss as it's a long way to go, it costs a fortune in petrol to get there and back, now to rub salt in the wounds I'd be expected to pay to go in.

Andrew, and a few others have mentioned the entrance fee which is supposed to be temporary but most seem ok with it.Andrew 2.8i wrote: ↑Fri Feb 12, 2021 7:50 pm This is a great event with a good variety of cars, but will it continue to attract so many people now they will have to pay to enter?

My issue is the pre/post 1980 rule. I know I have a newer car now, but most cars I like are pre 1990 so majority of the cars that attend I have no interest in, inc the Boy Racers that will attend in their droves. So although the social side is great, I don't think I'll be attending much in the future!
Also I can't see too many shows/meets happening until at least June as social distancing would be a nightmare to control.

Oh yeah, I forgot about that. Another reason not to go as we'll be put in with the boy racer crowd.

They should have a post 90s section too, its hardly a massive effort!
I'm the one who leaves all those shoes in the carriageway.
