It is, or was, indeed. Of course it`s changed hands loads of times since then, I think currently it`s Akzo Nobel?
Edit: there are 11 Fiat 132s still on the road in the UK. Nuff said!

Ah yes, it`s a bit like one of those `captcha` robot filters, a human can get the meaning even from incomplete information. Because of this I`ve had `there was an old man...` going round in my head all night - so thanks for that!!! :D

I’m going to try this XCP stuff, I normally use ACF-50 which is very good but the XCP looks really good value. I think there are pros and cons with each. ACF-50 doesn’t dry and penetrates into existing corrosion but leaves an oily residue before eventually washing off. XCP seems thicker and should stay in place for longer which is what you want on subframes etc. so looks ideal for most of what I’ll use it for. I’ll still use ACF-50 on the visible bits though.

Thanks as well to @stevemarl for carrying out your little experiment!

Asda has recently had the large size smart straw cans of WD-40 on the shelf for just £3.50. Never seen those so cheap.

My XCP arrived yesterday, but as you say that's cheap for WD. Our nearest Asda is 20 miles away so we never use it.

The last 600ml tin I bought from B&Q was around £5.
