Yep i watched the first episode yesterday and as other guys said it was ok but nothing great tbh. I get a bit bored though when the same "regular customers" snap up the cars purely for re-selling and making money. Prefer it when a private buyer gets one. On the standard Bangers and Cash before the lockdown i kept seeing the same guys in the crowd trying to buy. The post lockdown auctions without general public are a tad boring too. But its a classic car show so always interesting to see what models they get in. Not fussed about hearing whether or not they make money tbh.

It's on Thursday evenings Freeview Ch 27 (Yesterday) at 8pm, repeated Sunday evening 7pm
I didn't. Is this the series with the lady who had the Car SOS Capri that was mentioned on here a while back?

Andrew.
That was the standard Bangers and Cash series this one is different https://mikebrewermotoring.com/news/ban ... -air-date/

There is a Capri featured in the mid August episode!
I find wearing a nuns outfit helps with watching bangers and dash as after watching everyweek it becomes a “ habit”

Always VHS Andy :) How brilliant it was when these came out, the ability to actually record TV! It was amazing, like wizardry, and many of us were even still in awe of recording audio tapes. So exciting and so much fun. Wasn't it great. It's easier now and so much at our disposal, yet people just moan more. Figure that one out.

Thanks again Andy, I'd have missed it if it wasn't for your post. The 'tape' is all set and ready.

Yes we had VHS too, a top loader at first :)

Audio tapes/taping were one thing but video recorders they were definitely something different, especially the hand held forward/rewind control with lead :D Anyone in the family that got one I used to tune it to the T/V for them, but nowadays I'm a bit baffled with tech and try to avoid it as much as possible :headscratch:

So, a funny story about VHS. Back in the day a long long time before Google, the only way to get decent porn was on our beloved VHS format. So, somehow I ended up with a nice little collection and my manager at my previous job took an interest so i loaned him a couple. So next day he came into work amd he was shattered. One of the videos had got stuck in the video player machine and he was up most of the night trying to get it out. He had to dismantle the video machine to remove the said "issue" before his wife woke up

They got an amazing price for that Laser, considering that it was far from mint.
It looked to me like the winning bidder suffered a bit of auction fever...
It's funny how the condition was bigged up and, unless I missed it, the hole in the roof by the hinge wasn't shown at all until the new owner mentioned that "a few small issues" needed to be attended to. Until that point you'd have thought that the only thing wrong with the car was that the paint had been damaged by bird droppings.

That hinge hole reminded me there was something on the web about this car sometime ago, was it on here or somewhere else I saw it :headscratch:
