The journeys end

Post by A king »

I'm here at last, just a few little things to do. Capri Ghia is all but done. 18mths and several cuts and bruises and lots of cursing. Just a few pics of my Capri

Hi Andy, car is looking fantastic mate. The white with the new black vinyl top goes really well & Ghia interior is also in great shape. So nice to see a Ghia as they're pretty rare. Bodywork & wheels look brand new, are wheels refurbished or new? If repaired, it shows what an excellent finish can be achieved. You've done a lot of hard work & it really shows. Enjoy it !
 :applaud:
All the best,
Rob

Thanks Rob, I did the alloys myself with a sandblast machine from machine mark and they only just fitted in there, I've now got the Ghia alloys to go on but I love the 4 spokes so putting off changing them. Thank you for great comments makes all the hard work worth while

Well deserved, it's come a long way since it's funky paint job days :)

Fair play, the finish you've achieved is fantastic. It's great that you've got the Ghia alloys too, you can chop & change when you fancy a different look, out of the two I personally prefer the 4 spokes but the Ghia ones are correct so both will suit it well.
You've just reminded me looking at your pictures, I've got to fit the furry dice my son gave me last year :D

Hi Andy,
Both the car and the artwork are brilliant!
You've really transformed this car from the ugly duckling it was when you bought it.

Andrew.
