Very nice car for the price https://www.carandclassic.com/l/C1704058

Sadly 6/7 years until tax exempt so by then the yearly cost could be really expensive.

That is a good price for such a car. It'd be great driving around in that.

Really nice 8-) the fronts of Sierras and Mk3 Granadas are their best angle I think. That one looks particularly mean.

Ahhh I have done the same thing. My most hated mistake (on a phone or tablet) is just getting to the end of a long post, then hitting some as yet unknown keystroke and deleting the whole thing by mistake :swear:

You probably already know, but, depending on the device you're using, you can press ctrl-z and it will recover your last error/action.

And colour, many years ago when you used to look for a car in Exchange and Mart my Dad had found a car he was interested in, he rung the guy and we drove a couple of hours to go and see it, when we got to the house my father didnt even stop, he said '' I am not buying that its green'' and we turned around and drove home. Apparently he believed green cars were unlucky.

Heard that too.

Around 1985 I had a Crystal Green Mk3 Escort as did a couple of others that worked at the same factory. All 3 of us had accidents within the same month or so!

On the Classic Albums series featuring Iron Maiden, their producer Martin Birch was so affected by strange goings-on during sessions for The Number Of The Beast including lights apparently switching on and off by themselves, that he refused to pay a garage bill which totalled £666 after his car crashed into a mini bus full of Nuns one night after the mixing of the track itself!

Martin was so spooked when the car repair bill came to £666 that he insisted on paying an extra pound

The story is on Youtube somewhere

I have heard that Maiden story before, part of that album's folklore, think it was told on 12 Wasted Years. Never quite decided how much truth is in it, or even if the garage did it for a laugh. But still it's a good tale isn't it.

Great album.
