Still looks good. At the time mostly original paintwork, so due to the age most panels had blemishes (Patina) Not sure what's going on with the battery

As for the sign I don't think I was using back then
I don't know why I downloaded this, but I found it on my PC!
Andrew.
Ooops
I remember that, it was Paignton seafront April 2015, I wheelspun in reverse as ground was abit damp so some mud was spread around a little, also quite a windy day if I recall ended up with windrash
The other pic from same show is of the rear before the Janspeeds were fitted and is in the link I put up.
If still original I reckon that will make over £30k, as won't be many left now that haven't seen panels and paint!

I think you are spot on there. It certainly still looks good in the photos and the mileage is very low.

Sold for £21,600!
I thought it would sell for more. Looking through the results, a lot of the cars sold for less than I would have thought. Is the market beginning to dip or were the low sale prices a result of poor attendance and few bidders?

My thoughts too Andrew!
I thought £21k was quite a lot!
Possibly the state of the current economy and people having less disposable income etc? Someone told me the other day that there is something called a 'cost of living crisis' whatever that means....
Seriously though, I do wonder if that has had an impact? People mortgages doubling means less money for fun things and the like
Same with insurance at the moment, all going up and becoming more expensive to be a petrol head

I think we have all become used to seeing over inflated car prices, so when something sells for what it's probably worth, it's a bit of a surprise.
I suspect that most people who were in the financial position to be able to afford a really nice Capri before the cost of living crisis, probably haven't been affected that much by it.

Maybe not, but the average man who went along to these type of auctions hoping to pick one up and rewind the clock a bit has probably stopped going
