To be fair you could be close with that estimate!

Can I change mine :headscratch:

I know the price will rise higher than it currently is, personally I think the current bid of £33,000 is pretty brave considering no viewing of the cars is permitted beforehand.

I like the sound of the second batch of cars in the upcoming listing from the same seller.

My estimate was heavily influenced by four pints of ale and two thirds of a bottle of wine

We will never find out who had the closest guess as the seller has ended the listing.

:headscratch:

I'm not keen on the way the Ebay listings are now, having to click description rather than it following below the pictures as before. Suppose I'll get used to it in a week or so and forget what it used to be like

We should message the seller and ask how much he sold it for so we can decide who won the guessing game 😂

I think that's only for completed listings isn't it? It's been that way for quite a while now.

I have just checked several random car listings and they are as normal, but last few days listings were different :? Might be our PC it does stupid things sometimes.

I was offered a NOS parcel shelf last year, it was still in its packet. The seller asked me to make an offer so I offered £300 thinking I can go up a bit, apparently I was not even close as he had seen one sell for £1300 and thought it must be worth at least that. I think he will have that a long time.

Remove the E on the end of sheve and..... :)

ˈshēv. : a grooved wheel or pulley (as of a pulley block)

Should that be sheave? :D
"A wheel or roller with a groove along its edge for holding a belt, rope or cable. When hung between two supports with a belt, rope or cable, one or more sheaves make up a pulley"
