26th August - Ace Cafe Capri Day 2023

Hello people!

Some people may have forgotten about it, especially with all the talk of the ULEZ extension coming into effect 29th August (which hopefully will be stopped), but this years Capris at Ace Cafe is going ahead! Surrey Capri Club is going for what we hope isn't the last hurrah for these meets!

This will be on Saturday 26th August, just days before the extended areas are affected which will include the Ace Cafe. So with that in mind, it may be one of the last Capri (and possible classic) meets done there, which has been going for 16 years, so lets make it count!

Will start at 11am until 4pm. Ace breakfast is ace.

We have space for 50 cars but lets see if we can get a reserve list and even if you don't get into the car park; park close by and come on in! First come first served on the car park list; please message me with your name, reg, and car spec
Look forward to seeing you there, the sun usually shines lets make it a great one!

Just making sure. My facebook got hacked and deleted, so I’m a bit out of the loop.
On another note, we all meeting at South Mimms services like before?

Hi,

Yes all going ahead, not sure about where your convoys going to meet as South Mimms is out of my way, but definitely make tracks and tag along whoever is coming from that direction. Starts at 11am but as you know it can get busy earlier so get there early to guarantee a space!

I'm happy to meet up at South Mimms in the morning, if any one wants to convoy in again. I'll park down the far end as usual.
I'll check this thread in the morning to see if there are any takers. I would be aiming to set off from South Mimms at 10:30hrs. If not, I'll see you all there, cheers....
