Hi,
I’m reluctantly selling my beloved Ford Capri Laser 1.6, Black, (D Reg, 1986).
12 months MOT, just fully major serviced & has new tyres all round. Decent, almost entirely rust free body work. Polishes up lovely!!
I have owned this Cappa for 14 years. It was my daily driver for many years & has been super reliable. Has also been kept in a garage for the previous 3 years.
Loads of work done over the years, removing many of the pinto Capri issues & many parts have been uprated.
- Electronic ignition
- Replaced original carb with a Weber 32/36 DGAV
- Capri Club 4-2-1 exhaust system with 2” exit
2 years ago both front wings & lower valance were replaced. Paintwork has a few minor blemishes, but is in really good condition. Sills are good.
The driver seat is in need of upholstering/replacing, plus the dash is cracked (as per). My next project was to replace the seats with Recaro’s & the dash.
The windscreen has 2 minor cracks & there are some paint defects & a little rust bubble on the surround - see photos.
6 previous owners. I have loads of paperwork from all the work & services during my ownership (see photos)
Anyone that has owned an older or classic car will know that there is a continuous & ever growing list of jobs that need doing. This car is in great condition for its age & would make a great daily driver or equally a restoration project for someone.

Could be the black Laser me and Daisy keep seeing in Cambridge area.. not sure though.
