Ford cannot be serious....

To quote

"Using the same moniker as the collectible 1970s car - commonly referred to as the 'working man's Porsche' due to its affordability - the EV version is expected to cost roughly £40,000."

 All those poor people will be rubbing their hands with glee at such an affordable price

" it will still boast some of the classic's original features, including a four-headlight arrangement."

So that's it. Its got four headlights so its a Capri !!
Wonder if it will have special body panels that rust when driven in rain

I can't see this actually going ahead with the Capri badge on it... Surely not...

Another SUV retro electric milk float. An insult to the Capri name and all the original car's dedicated owners and lovers worldwide.

As Nemo said, please God it's not true.

God that leccy Mustang is horrible, is the that the kind of thing they're going to slap the Capri badge on?

Look on the bright side kids - our Capris are about to become even cooler by comparison.

I've just been sent a picture from someone so it appears to have made it into print!

Considering the amount of times over the last 30 years there have been rumblings about bringing back the Capri name, I can't imagine a worse way to do it than by making it electric
