Annual camping weekend - 30 June , 1 & 2 July 2023

Post by Peter-S »

Ok gang - all booked
Angel Inn, Larling off A11 outside of Thetford

Friday 30th June 2023 from mid afternoon
Saturday 1st July
Head home Sunday 2nd July

On arrival pop in to the pub to pay for pitch fees and get a gate key for the field opposite

Have requested bottom left corner of the field out of the way of anyone else who might be camping then

Commonly called CRaP and unlikely to get the new name suggested by Mark last year!

Anyway, beer and bbq in a field opposite a pub near Thetford. A good way to spend a couple of nights probably first weekend in July. Pub does some B and B if a tent is not your thing.
New location last year that went down well with those that attended so should happen again.

Who is interested?

Tom I think the last time we met was 13th July 2011.
I am looking forward to seeing you again in much happier circumstances.
I may even bring a tent and partake of an ale with you.
(Unless you're still on the Cinzano and lemonades of course? :xd: )

Date is somewhat fluid atm the it seems, though first weekend in July is being promulgated.
It involves a field, tents, beer, bbq and lots of pointless chat as far as I can make out.
In other words, every ex-serviceman's dream :D

Do it Martin, it'd be great to see you and no course I'm not on the Cinzano, how could you suggest such a thing.

Mine's a nice manly dubbonet with ginger ale :gay:
