Getting tempted with cheap old CB radios on ebay and thought I'd see if anyone has them still mounted in their Capris in 2022? Mainly for the look although it might as well work If its in there.
I like the idea of being able to squeeze one in below above the centre clock or under the glove box for retro value. Can't find any photos on google of Capris with CB's which is a bit of a shock as I bet it was a car that was ripe for the CBer ?
Anyone out there with them? I'm looking at stuff like this. I did see one with a "wood" facia somewhere that was what i had in mind.

You should google "cellular phone"
Wadda ya mean "still mounted "I dont know anyone who ever defaced their classic Capri with one.....thats the reason you cant find any photo's of CB radios in Capris . Capri owners ( well most of them anyway ) are to cool for that.
Do you have curb feelers ......3 or 4 aerials , little red stars on your mud flaps or some of them little pom pom things across the rear screen ( nah not your kids )
What does your boyfriend think about a CB .
Sorry , couldnt help myself , takin the Micheal , here is a pic of my shed wall loaded with retro stuff .....all of it older than CBs

Yes ,and the denon stereo .
I have a marine vhf/uhf radio in my boat and Im pretty sure some of the boat to boat ( simplex ) channels are the same as the CB frequencies.
Mostly only truckies and boaties are the only one using these channels nowdays ......used to be popular here tho .
