Just caught up with your progress Paul and I have to say it looks sh*t, you must be disappointed. I am a charitable sole so if you want I will take it off your hands so you can start again with something else. 👍

Looks excellent.. Have you got rid of the Cortina Lotis or started a collection? Seems a long long time ago that I came time to your place and bought that interior from the Highland Green car.

Yes it seems a long time ago sometimes and shorter then it is some others. Great stuff on the builds. I heard/read somewhere that you had been unwell so apologies. I hope you are on the mend and all sorted so all the best. What did you make of the Cosworth? Was it standard? I was a bit underwhelmed but it didn't put me off, the one I drove was standard. It was down in Reading/Windsor way on, one owner low miles, I put a deposit on it but through work I couldn't get the time to go down and pick it up. £6k it was, I have regretted it to this day. Excellent on the RS3100, any pics or a link to the thread?

Take it easy.

I've had heart trouble. Had to have a couple of operations but hopefully ok now.I bought the 3 door Cosworth and put it in the garage and didn't even look at it.Not really .my thing. My mate had deal with me with the 3.0s and cash my way.The cossie was Chipped to 270 bhp apart from that untouched.
I put a post on a couple of Facebook pages for a wanted add for a rs3100 needing work.
Had people telling me I wouldn't find one needing work.
Then a guy in Australia contacted me saying he had 3 of them and he would sell this one as he will never get time to do it.The guy is in his 70s and told me that it was in a barn surrounded by his mates mustangs ect.
His mate was on holiday in NZ and due to covid couldn't get back to OZ because they shut the borders.
3 months later he got back. Then they got the rs back to his house. Then they had severe flooding near his property, luckily the car was ok and his property was untouched. He wouldn't sell me the car until he got it all up and running. He sorted the brakes, new water pump and alternator and then contacted me.Then I organised the shipping and after nearly 11 months it turned up.Im really happy with it as it has never had any welding and as far as I can see, doesn't need any.Has a really quick engine, lsd ect.
Wants restoring but it's not rotten at all.Interior needs doing ect.
Will start that once the S is done

Pleased you are on the mend mate.

Wow!! That is stunning, great find. I saw there was or is another OZ RS3100 on ebay in Olympic Blue. I love MK1's and the flat fronted 4 spokes are supurb. I will keep an eye out. It looks good in white with the stripes which is a bonus - but any colour would do and in your game you could change it I suppose but I keep things as they were.

Keep up the good work and take it easy Chap.

All the best.
