Not a Capri but very cool....
So was out walking with the wife earlier and seen this. Very cool look indeed. I love this look on Beetles.
The wife said "But it looks all patched up".
She frowned when I said the owner prob spent alot of time and money to get it looking so good

Yours is the real deal Mr Tom
Remember watching Salvage Hunters: Classic Cars and Drew paid good money to some freehand car bodywork artist guy to paint on patina and rust spots on one of their cars. Saves alot of time waiting for it to occur naturally I suppose
It looked very cool and easy to polish up with Autoglym Super Resin Polish

That Ed China bloke is ........well, I see him (or Chubby Brewer ) spending good money refurbishing parts , like wheels , and then using the rusty old wheel nuts to refit them .......or fixing an oil leak .....but dont clean up the mess it made.....maybe I just a bit to OCD

It's a great feeling when you unexpectedly see old and interesting cars parked at the side of the road.
However, the rat look on this Beetle looks way too contrived.
Andrew.

I can categorically deny ever having owned an estate. I've previously had saloons and hatchbacks, but never an estate!
I love the way you've redacted the rear number plate for privacy reasons, but not the front one....

Yes I agree with that. It's a bit like artificial lawn, enhanced breasts, vegetarian sausage. It's not real. Fake news to coin a modern term.
Nice spot though Nick, I'd have taken a pic too, and I do like Beetles.
